Lisa G. French was born at Andrews AFB, then grew up in Mississippi and Texas. While attending The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she studied painting, sculpture and experimental filmmaking. After earning her BFA, she worked in Chicago at the Gene Siskel Film Center and later Second City before relocating to Los Angeles in 2006. One could say she was living the dream until the writers strike in 2008 led to a career pivot to marketing, digital media, and editorial content. In 2017, Lisa had a drawing in the Have Mercy: The John Stamos Art Show during Riot Fest in Chicago. In the summer of 2020, she relocated from Los Angeles to the Mojave Desert after many visits over the years for introspective, quiet nights under the stars.
