Meg Jorgensen · Ask The Dusk

December 29, 2018 – January 27, 2019

Artist Meg Jorgensen

Ask The Dusk

The style of Los Angeles fine artist, Megan Jorgenson, is a spirited dance with a feminine edge. She describes her work as natural, lyrical, and romantic. Inspired by nature’s palettes and shapes, she uses minerals and plants from the earth as the primary pigments in her pieces. Elements from charcoal, stone, flowers, and clay combined with pops of classic oil create a rawness so lively, you will want to reach out and touch the surface, just to feel the smear of bougainvillea petals at your fingertips. All the works in ‘Ask the Dust’ were created during Megan’s residency at Compound YV in Dec. 2018.
