needles on the ocean floor is a collection of sculptures focused on balance and weight as reflected in both material and composition. His approach to form is influenced by a dedication to repetition, labor, and creatively surrendering to generative compulsion. The work is a reflection of practice; a cycle of production, evaluation, re-production, re-evaluation. 

Bio

Ethan Primason is a sculptor based in the California High Desert. His work has been shown at Pioneer Works, Sargent’s Daughters, BoxoPROJECTS, Marinaro Gallery, Outpost Artist Resources, Wassaic Project, and Marfa Open.
